Progress Analysis lets you compare results for any cohort across any two assessment windows, whether they're from the same academic year or different academic years.
You access it via the PROGRESS ANALYSIS button in the top right of the Analysis area main page:
Once you're in the Progress Analysis area you'll see a button allowing you to select your first comparison set of data. Click this then use the options to select the data you'd like to compare:
Once you've made your selections, the first part of the progress grid will appear, with students organised by whichever metric you have chosen:
Now use the "With" selector at the top to choose your second assessment to compare. A progress matrix will appear:
You can use the slider at the bottom to hide students with no data for one or more assessment, and there are also filters that can be accessed via the FILTERS button in the top right that allow you to limit the data shown in the matrix.
Another example of how you can use Progress Analysis to compare your current Year 6 results with your pupils' performance at the end of Year 5.
