Analysis and reports are available from the "Assessment Analysis" tab.
In Smartgrade, there a 3 types of analysis:
- Attainment Analysis: A breakdown of results across Question, Topic, Part and Overall level. You'll also be taken straight to Attainment Analysis whenever you submit a markbook.
- Subject Analysis: Allows for comparison of a selected result type (such as Percentile Rank) between multiple subjects that belong to the same assessment family e.g. Maths, Reading and GPS for the ‘National Curriculum Tests (SATs)’ family or Geography, Maths and Science for ‘Ark Curriculum Plus’.
- Progress Analysis: Lets you compare data from any two assessments in different windows or academic years.
In terms of what data you can see:
- School Users can see analysis for all subjects/classes from their school, including for subjects they don't teach, allowing for easy comparison between subjects.
- School Admins can see all data from their school plus aggregated data from other schools in the MAT where relevant. Admins can also see additional analysis by special category data (e.g. ethnicity) which is not available to School Users.
-
School and MAT Users, Leaders and Admins can see anonymised, aggregated data from other schools (ie those outside of your organisation) in global assessments.
- MAT Users can see data for all subjects/classes across the MAT.
