Welcome to Smartgrade! We are a platform for schools and MATs to create, share, mark and analyse assessments.
Assessment partners have also made their assessments available to schools and MATs via the Smartgrade platform. If you are interested in finding out more about our partner assessments please contact us.
When you log on to Smartgrade for the first time, you'll see our homepage, which looks like this:
There are five main areas to the product:
- The Marketplace, where you can view assessments that have already been created by your school, MAT (even other MATs) or organisations.
- My Assessments, which is where you create assessment templates and topic libraries, and also standardise and check the quality of assessments you created.
- The Quality Checker, which you can use to view Quality Reports that have been generated about assessments you published.
- Markbooks, which contains all markbooks associated with your account. (NB Admins see all markbooks for their school or MAT).
- Analysis, where you can view and analyse data from your school or trust's assessments.
As a teacher, you're likely to use the Markbooks and Analysis areas the most. This article containing some hints and tips on how to use markbooks will be particularly useful to you in ensuring you have a smooth and speedy experience using Smartgrade. This article including a glossary of commonly used Smartgrade terminology may also be helpful.
If you have any questions, this knowledge base has a range of resources, including troubleshooting guides for frequently asked questions. If you browse the knowledge base and find it does not answer your question, either speak to a Smartgrade administrator from your school, or contact us on help@smartgrade.co.uk.
